finally editing cat and steven’s pictures — everything has been so in flux, and i’ve been so nervous about if they were all horrible, so i’ve just been putting it off — but i finally got a studio desk and set everything up and starting editing yesterday. the photos are actually really, really good, and i am very proud of myself.
i see where i could have improved for the reception and i wish it hadn’t been so dark for the ceremony, but i got some nice pictures regardless.
starting to think seriously about my grad school applications — oof so seriously stressful. i don’t even know if it’s something i want. whatever.
acupuncture with kirby again — she did my back for the first time, and that’s clearly where i hold all of my anxiety and tension — even when she would touch my back with herfingers i would involuntarily flinch. and when she put the needles in, the immediate ache and release i felt was immense. it’s still aching now, and i’m sure it will continue to do so for the next day or so … but i did notice that my neck pain is basically gone for the first time in months, so fuck. she’s magic.

This weekend works for me. I am free during the day on Saturday and most of Sunday
We don’t need a new sofa for our new place — we are currently using our bedroom as our office/studio and the living room as the bedroom, so there isn’t room for one. oh, seattle.

Hey Anne! That job finally came through, and I just wanted to thank you for your help. I ended up charging basically the highest number that you through out, and there was a tiny bit of back and forth, but they basically accepted it (I told them that if they chose both pieces that ir client chose both pieces they were interested in, I would knock $800 on the price)ff and they accepted.
So for both pieces, I’ll be getting 15.5k with a install of late March.
Thank you, thank you, Anne! I talked to you literally five minutes before I talked to the art consultant, and I think it made a huge difference in how I handled the call.

I have the same question. He assaulted a group of children verbally and then physically assaulted another and he gets off while the kid gets a citation for arguably defending himself (or at the worst, retaliating). What the actual fuck.
